What Kid Explorers Books is

Kid Explorers Books is a series of narrative nonfiction adventure books for ages 7-12. Each book features a fictional child guide who leads readers through a real topic or destination — a country, a region, or a set of national parks. The guides and their personal stories are fictional; the facts, places, and research behind them are real, presented through story rather than textbook structure.

How Kid Explorers World works

Kid Explorers World is a free companion website featuring interactive adventures inspired by select Kid Explorers books. A child reads five fact cards, answers a five-question quiz, and earns a collectible Explorer Badge. There is no chat, no messaging, and no way for a child to contact anyone through the site.

Families are welcome to enjoy the activities whether or not they own the books.

Privacy, in plain terms

• No child accounts, logins, or personal information are required or collected anywhere on this website.
• Quiz scores and Explorer Badges are stored only in your browser on the device you're using. They are never sent to or stored on a Kid Explorers server.
• Clearing browser data will reset a child's earned badges — there is no account to recover them from.
• Videos are hosted directly on this site, not embedded from YouTube or any other platform — playing one doesn't send your child to another website or share data with a third party.
• There are no advertisements, chat features, comments, or social media interactions anywhere on the Kid Explorers website.

Kid Explorers books are available exclusively through Amazon. When you choose View on Amazon, you'll leave the Kid Explorers website and complete your purchase securely on Amazon. No purchases are made directly through this website.

Using it in the classroom

Teachers are welcome to use Free Printables and Kid Explorers World adventures as supplementary classroom activities at no cost. Each adventure takes about 5-10 minutes to complete.
